Introduction to Ancient Egyptian Medicinal Practices

From January through March 2008, I was able to live a dream. Through Columbia University, I studied abroad in Egypt. It began in the Dakhleh Oasis and by the month of March, we were traveling through the Nile Valley, visiting some of the greatest sites in Egypt. While I was already enthralled by ancient Egypt, this trip reinforced my love for all things Egyptian.

It wasn’t until another invader came to Egypt nearly 1300 years after the hieroglyphs’ meanings were forgotten that the clues to unlock their secrets came together.
