Over the next few weeks I will be featuring a paper I presented last semester for my Historiography of Ancient Egypt class. It will feature the theory that piety in Ancient Egypt increased after the reign of Akhenaten and through the reigns of the Ramesside pharaohs.
The paper deals mostly with the theories of other authors, looking at the historic view of ancient Egyptian piety and religion.
