There's this book I just finished reading. It's called The Last Secret of the Temple by Paul Sussman. I dunno if you've read it before but it's awesome! It's about this present day Egyptian detective. The mystery and the case revolves around Egypt, ancient Jerusalem, crusades, the holocaust, cathar heretics, and medieval manuscripts.
